I like this quote from Dr.Katz because it gives meaning to thought of community and creating a better community for our children in the present and the future.

ReplyDeleteIt shows that you can only learn when you are listening and paying attention to what is being taught. It is important to listen so that you can ask questions to further your knowledge and understanding.
I have run across many of LBJ's quotes that are worth noting! I love the quote about not learning anything if you are talking. Sometimes we forget to just be quiet and listen whether it be to our students, colleagues, or family. It's a great quote to remember.
ReplyDeleteLyndon sounds like a humorous guy, I think I am going to keep his quotes handy. In my opinion listening is a vital part to learning.
